Malta by summer
The island of Malta was annexed by Britain at the beginning of the 19th century and remained as its colony until the year of 1964, when it became a sovereign state. Nevertheless, the country’s many characteristics still reflect on its history, for example with English also being an official language besides Maltese. During summer between 29th June and 9th August, Malta has given home to Rajmund Fodor’s international water polo camp in the past five years, and will continue to do so in 2015. The two-time Olympic gold medalist and also World and European Champion water polo player invites girls and boys between 14-18 to take part in an unforgettable experience. The main pillar of the camp is playing water polo of course, but there are numerous other programs to take part in. The youngsters have a great opportunity to learn and practice English in classes between trainings and at organized cultural events during their stay. Besides Hungarians, the camp has welcomed participants from 27 countries from all over the world during its years of operation.
